Hello again. Back from Italy.

Musical things that happened there:

• We saw the church in Venice Vivaldi worked at for a while
• We also stopped in some little museum in Venice that had a bunch of awesome old instruments
• There was a guy playing ‘cello in front of a church in Lucca (though he played Finlandia and Ode to Joy… not sure he knew what country he was in)
• We also visited Boccherini’s grave in Lucca
• There were two guys on a subway in Rome playing violin/guitar together who were surprisingly good
• There was however a bad street musician in Rome as well - playing saxophone in the Piazza del Popolo. 
• My hotel in Rome was just the 3rd floor of this building, and on the bottom floor was a little chapel type thing. 2 of the 3 nights we were there they were having concerts in the chapel so I got to hear bits and pieces of that.
• Uh… there may have been other little things, but I just can’t remember them off the top of my head now.
• But yeah, it was fun - but I’m glad to be home.
