This isn’t a pickup line but it pertains to the last one I submitted. Friday at band camp my friends and I discovered the wonderful sectional sounding like sexual, and voila, different sectionalities were born. Personally, I’m transectional (I switched from clarinet to baritone) and dating someone who’s asectional (not in the band). So here’s an outline of the terms:

Heterosectional- dating/like someone in a different section

Homosectional- dating/like someone in the same section

Bisectional- dating/like someone in the same/a different section and previously dated/liked someone in a different/the same section

Asectional- someone not in the band/dating or crushing on them/not liking or dating anyone in the band

Transectional- someone that changed sections/instruments (dance team to percussion, sax to tuba, clarinet to baritone, ect)

If anyone thinks of any more post them! Anyone is free to use these terms in their pickup lines or wherever else. They make for interesting conversation.
